My presentation will focus on what Social Emotional Learning is, what it looks like, and how I integrate it into my everyday teaching. I do not follow a certain SEL “curriculum” however I do have great success with instilling important core values and creating positive classroom behavior. This presentation will introduce SEL ideas/ways to begin, children’s books that bolsters positive social skills, and the importance of teaching growth mindset, also.
